APAWhat is the Advance Provisioning Allowance?
The APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid running budget, set here at 35% of the charter fee. Paid before boarding, it covers everything you enjoy on board: fuel for the yacht and tender, berthing and port fees, food and fine wines, special requests and similar running costs.
The Captain manages the budget and provides a full report with every receipt and invoice. These are the charterer's expenses: if, at the end of the charter, you have spent less than the APA, the difference is refunded to you; if you have spent more, the balance is simply settled before disembarkation.
